Hạnh nguyện 1
Con nguyện cho tổ tiên, quyến thuộc và thân bằng trong ba đời quá khứ – hiện tại – vị lai được giải thoát khỏi ba đường ác (địa ngục, ngạ quỷ, súc sinh), trở về cõi thiện, cùng tu học theo Chánh pháp.
Hạnh nguyện 2
Con nguyện cho mọi kinh điển, sách, báo, phim ảnh, tài liệu chân chánh về Phật pháp được dịch ra tất cả ngôn ngữ, để ánh sáng từ bi – trí tuệ của đạo Phật đến với toàn nhân loại.
Hạnh nguyện 3
Con nguyện cho khoa học hiện đại và triết học duy vật biện chứng làm sáng tỏ chân lý Đức Phật dạy: chứng minh đạo lý vô thường, vô ngã, nhân quả, duyên khởi; để khoa học và tâm linh hòa điệu, bổ sung cho nhau.
Hạnh nguyện 4
Con nguyện cho nhân loại toàn thế giới tu học Phật pháp, giữ gìn 5 giới, chấm dứt bạo lực, chiến tranh, dịch bệnh, thiên tai. Nhân loại sống trong hòa bình, hòa hợp với thiên nhiên, không sát hại lẫn nhau, không sát hại động vật, không sát hại thực vật và không hủy diệt môi trường sống.

Con nguyện cho mọi bệnh tật được chữa lành và phòng ngừa bằng trí tuệ thân – khẩu – ý: ăn uống khoa học – lành mạnh, sinh hoạt điều độ, nghề nghiệp chân chánh.
Hạnh nguyện 6
Con nguyện cho trẻ em, phụ nữ, người già – và mọi kiếp người – được yêu thương, giáo dục, chăm sóc bằng tình thương và trí tuệ, để sống đời yêu thương, hiểu biết và hạnh phúc.
Hạnh nguyện 7
Con nguyện cho quân đội các quốc gia trở thành lực lượng bảo vệ hòa bình cho toàn thể nhân loại.
Hạnh nguyện 8
Con nguyện cho tất cả thầy thuốc, y bác sĩ và người làm trong ngành y thấm nhuần tâm từ bi – hỷ xả, thực hành theo 10 Lời thề Y đạo Phật giáo; lấy việc chủ động phòng bệnh, chữa bệnh, cứu người làm con đường Bồ Tát đạo – đưa đạo vào đời.

Con nguyện cho mọi tâm ma (ác, xấu) và tâm quỷ (tham lam, ích kỷ) trong con người đều được chuyển hóa, trở về lương thiện theo tâm Phật.
Hạnh nguyện 10
Con nguyện cho bản thân có thể yêu thương tất cả mọi người, kể cả những ai từng hại con, chỉ trích con; tha thứ và mở rộng tâm đại từ đại bi như Quán Thế Âm Bồ Tát, yêu thương nhân loại, động vật, thực vật, và môi trường sống.
Hạnh nguyện 11
Con nguyện cho mọi thầy cô giáo đều có tình thương và trí tuệ, làm tròn sứ mệnh giáo dục thế hệ mai sau; và con nguyện cho mọi nghề nghiệp của nhân loại đều dựa trên chánh nghiệp, tạo ra sản phẩm – dịch vụ để phụng sự con người trên cơ sở phát triển bền vững, chấm dứt hành vi hủy hoại môi trường.

Con nguyện cho nhân loại sống trong hòa bình, hài hòa với thiên nhiên; chấm dứt bạo lực, chiến tranh, dịch bệnh, thiên tai. Thế giới an lành không phải do cầu xin thần linh, mà do chính trí tuệ – từ bi – hành động sáng suốt của con người kiến tạo.

🌿 THE TWELVE GREAT VOWS OF DOCTOR CHU 🌿
Vow 1
I vow that my ancestors, relatives, and companions across the three lifetimes—past, present, and future—may be liberated from the three evil realms (hell, hungry ghosts, and animals), return to the wholesome paths, and together cultivate the Dharma.
Vow 2
I vow that all authentic sutras, scriptures, books, journals, films, and resources on the Buddha Dharma shall be translated into every language, so that the light of compassion and wisdom may reach all humanity.
Vow 3
I vow that modern science and dialectical materialist philosophy shall illuminate the truths taught by the Buddha: impermanence, non-self, cause and effect, and dependent origination; so that science and spirituality may harmonize and enrich one another.
Vow 4
I vow that humankind across the world shall study and practice the Buddha Dharma, uphold the Five Precepts, and bring an end to violence, war, epidemics, and natural disasters. May humanity live in peace, in harmony with nature—harming neither one another, nor animals, nor plants, nor destroying the environment that sustains life.
Vow 5
I vow that all illnesses may be healed and prevented through the wisdom of body, speech, and mind: wholesome nutrition, balanced living, and right livelihood.
Vow 6
I vow that children, women, the elderly—and all beings—shall be loved, educated, nurtured, and cared for with compassion and wisdom, so that they may live lives of love, understanding, and happiness.
Vow 7
I vow that the armies of all nations shall become forces devoted to protecting peace for the whole of humanity.
Vow 8
I vow that all physicians, doctors, and those working in the field of medicine shall embody compassion and equanimity, uphold the Ten Buddhist Medical Oaths, and take the prevention and healing of illness and the saving of lives as the Bodhisattva Path—bringing the Dharma into daily life.
Vow 9
I vow that all demonic minds (of cruelty and malice) and ghostly minds (of greed and selfishness) within human beings shall be transformed, returning to goodness in accordance with the Buddha-mind.
Vow 10
I vow that I may love all people, even those who have harmed or criticized me; that I may forgive them and expand a heart of boundless compassion like Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva—loving humanity, animals, plants, and the entire living environment.
Vow 11
I vow that all teachers shall embody compassion and wisdom, fulfilling their sacred mission of educating future generations; and I vow that all human professions shall be grounded in right livelihood, creating products and services that serve humanity, rooted in sustainable development, and ending all acts of environmental destruction.
Vow 12
I vow that humanity shall live in peace, in harmony with nature; ending violence, war, epidemics, and natural disasters. May a pure and peaceful world arise not from supplication to deities, but from the wisdom, compassion, and enlightened actions of humankind itself.
